First step , according to the people who know , whoever they are , but they seem to be everywhere is to start a Yoga routine . The idea seems to be that you have to get back in tune with your body ( must I ?). Why I can’t get back in tune with it whilst watching old episodes of Star Trek and eating ice cream . I used to think that yoga was something people who didn’t shave their arm pits and had questionable hair hygiene did , but apparently not .My wife now goes to Yoga , Pilates and something called tone your bum and tum and I know she is shaves and washes her hair. She goes in tired and comes out , sort of energised and enthused to tidy the house. Perhaps I could give it a go , how hard can it be right ?

Ive got a subscription to Apple fitness for my wife , I’ve done a fair bit of sofa research and found two yoga instructors on the site Jessica and Molly they seem nice , they have a beginners section and apart from buying some mens lycra Im all good , I have a yoga mat , I use for grass covering at picnics , I just need to pick a suitable date to begin . Obviously it can’t be today , also I think it’s better that it’s not too hot , or cold for that matter and the house should be empty , don’t want the kids laughing . I should perhaps do some more research on the best surface to do it on , carpet, vinyl , tiles , also the duration , don’t want to push it too far at the beginning . Well Im exhausted just talking about it , I will , now have to wait until the next blog to see how I start , then I will report back and see if it makes a difference , Mmm..thinking about it is the first step , so a big tick on the do yoga entry in my reminders app.
